The vaccum that always existed
Feels a little more alive these days
Tugging and pulling for attention
Sucking strands of remnant optimism
Into its hungry vortex
I fill it with things
Dancing bells
Poetic reveries
even “dead man’s floats”
I’ll catch a play
I’ll sing a song
I’ll do anything to keep going on
And probably as before
I need to do it once more
Throw into the throes
Of this insatiate vaccuum
The ultimate filler
Time
